Dev build 96: new Railgun, station controls by the abilities, Station Info and hover card back in place, research prerequisite highlight, tutorial polish

Builds 95 and 96

Railgun, Station Controls and Panels Back in Place

Improvements

  • New Railgun: a 2x3 large gun firing a charged slug every 2 seconds with a small blast, plus Railgun Slug ammo and Railgun Damage 1 to 4 research
  • Dyson Energy Logistics now needs Dyson Spheres instead of Mega Structures
  • The station controls (Move, Land, Copy, Deconstruct, Hide panels) sit next to the abilities row instead of over the objectives card
  • On desktop, a building's windows first open together around the middle of the screen. Windows you've dragged stay put
  • Technology window: selecting a tech lights its whole prerequisite chain, and the Requirements and Required For lists are gone
  • The orange tutorial highlight follows the rounded corners of slots and craft buttons and looks sharper. Select Research gets it too while nothing is being researched
  • The tutorial highlights the first tech you can start on the way to the one a step asks for
  • A tutorial step now arrives in order: the voice line, then its card, then its arrow, and a finished card has a new animation
  • Tutorial cards of steps that start together show after the voice lines, and subtitles keep going if their window is hidden
  • Frenzy has a cast range: past it the cursor ring turns red and Out of range shows
  • Ordering a station to Land shows a blue landing hologram where it'll land until it's down
  • New games start with the Normal tutorial, and the Detailed option is gone from New Game and Custom
  • A save made while mining a Luminae Obelisk now loads with no mining in progress

Fixes

  • Station Info stays just above the abilities and the building hover card above the minimap on the Steam Deck, instead of moving to the top left
  • The Player Inventory no longer opens against the left edge of the screen
  • Moving or landing a station no longer brings back the old Copy and Deconstruct Station buttons
