0.50.0.53

Join Desyncs, Stacked Enemies, and Your Bug Reports

Improvements

  • The Ancient Guardian heals 3% of its max health per minute
  • The loading screen names the game you're joining
  • Player name tags show on the zoomed-in map
  • Bigger map icons, and Alt view icons grow as you zoom out
  • New power building descriptions, and the power panel flags a grid wired in a loop
  • Client-piloted stations' rocket adapters turn right away and faster
  • As a client, research drops are pulled into the ship you see
  • Ships and turrets move on from a target they can't damage
  • Star-lit Advanced Solar Panels glow 20% less
  • The afterburner comes to a point and goes out when the dash ends, and the Frenzy glow is back

Fixes

  • Enemy attack waves piled onto one spot and froze. They spread out now, and older saves clear enemy ships once (camps stay)
  • Joining could desync with a removed Comet Catcher, defense platforms fighting, or a station flying near camps
  • Renaming a landing zone could desync stations routed to it
  • Cheats that only change your own game are refused in multiplayer
  • A station whose blocked landing came after a turn could be torn apart. Saves heal on load
  • Leaving a game with the map open gave a white screen in the next one
  • Hologram filter and splitter settings were lost when built
  • A station with one landing zone twice in its route could wait forever at a zone with a max queue
  • Movement could freeze after alt-tabbing, mostly on a Steam Deck
  • Loading some large or older saves no longer crashes
  • A single-player load after a multiplayer game came up frozen
  • The main menu bug reporter stopped taking clicks once dragged
  • Map markers landed up and left of the click
  • Long stop names overlapped the row below
  • Crashes: a station undocking on a client, construction bots losing their owner, and the likely cause of a Steam Deck minimap crash
