Build 85
Readable Text on Steam Deck, Tougher Enemies and Music That Stays On
Improvements
On screens smaller than 1920x1080, like the Steam Deck's 1280x800, the interface no longer shrinks with the screen and the smallest text is a size you can read
Enemies with straight shots aim ahead of your ship when you move, so kiting in a straight line is much harder
Enemy weapons hit your own ship 15% harder outside Haven and 30% harder 3000 or more units from the map centre. The minimap's Enemy Strength tooltip says so. Your fleet and buildings take the same damage as before
Tutorial steps that ask you to place or attach something now flash that item in your inventory and hotbar
The tutorial card's Complete button now reads Skip
Clicking a building you can't craft right now in the craft panel puts it in your hand as a blueprint ghost
In Alt view, blueprint ghosts show the item icon their finished building will show
Capacitors no longer need Lasers researched first. Laser Turrets now need Lasers directly
Your starting construction bots loot Ancient Treasures and leftover boxes only after you research Remote Construction
The Urso attack warning no longer stacks copies
Fixes
Waiting in the menus for more than about two minutes before a game no longer leaves that whole game without music
Typing in a text field no longer moves your ship or closes the panel behind it, and the mouse wheel over a list scrolls it instead of zooming
Clicking quickly in the quick craft panel no longer cancels your craft queue
The antimatter cloud and the obelisk electricity no longer freeze the game for a moment the first time you see them
Selection boxes around comet fragments and asteroids no longer spin with them
Cargo hold icons sit on their holds again and no longer blink when a hold empties
