Build 87

Exit Game, the Old Blueprint Ghosts and Junction Priorities

Improvements

  • The in-game Esc menu has Exit Game. It asks first, like Exit to Menu
  • Blueprint ghosts are back to their old look. Landing zones keep their hologram
  • Junctions can prioritise each side: click a side's arrow in the junction panel to set 1, 2 or 3. Level 2 gets only what level 1 can't take
  • A building on a mobile station shows Max speed, Move, Rotate, Land, Copy and Deconstruct in one strip right under its panel. A tall panel scrolls instead of running under other windows
  • The tech tree keeps its frame rate while you drag it
  • Hold right-click on a landing zone to remove it from any distance
  • Reset UI Layout also resets the UI scale
  • The Mobile Stations button by the minimap is gone. Factory Information and J still open it
  • The Inventory window is as tall as its slots and scrolls when they don't fit
  • A fleet ability short of ships shows a red have/need count
  • Help videos are gone from objectives, and the game is about 240 MB smaller
  • Steam Deck: hold L4 to hide the panels and steer, L1 and R1 switch panel tabs
  • Steam Deck: the UI scale stays at 0.90 and its slider is hidden
  • Steam Deck: controller button icons are bigger and outlined
  • Steam Deck: the Menu button backs out of title screen panels, and dialogs answer it with their safe choice

Fixes

  • A host whose online connection dropped landed on the title screen with no word why. It now says the connection was lost
  • A reconnecting player could sit at Synchronizing forever. The game now gives up on a stalled rejoin and tries again
  • A player joining while the host held a blueprint could fall out of sync
  • The respawn countdown is translated
  • Steam Deck: the Steam review box, Bug Reporter and Credits no longer run off the screen, and Exit Game no longer hides under the Agent Control strip
