0.50.0.47

Oracle Over-Buying, Outlined Players, and a Bigger Map

Improvements

  • Other players' ships get a glowing outline in their colour, also shown through buildings, so you can spot them over a big factory. Settings > Display > Player Outline sets how strong it is (0 turns it off)
  • The map zooms out five times farther
  • New engine flames for your ship, Bats and Krillos that grow with speed, and rocket adapters fire with a proper plume, ignition flash and cut-off
  • The Afterburner starts with a full charge in a new game, a load or a join, instead of waiting out its first cooldown
  • Station Movement Programming now needs Planetary Science, like every other tech that costs planetary research, so the tree shows the link
  • Desync reports carry more detail for the developers

Fixes

  • Spam-clicking an Oracle upgrade could buy past its level cap (4/3 craft speed at the starting Oracle). Every buy now stops at that Oracle's cap. Saves holding a level above an upgrade's maximum are brought back to it and the spent Lumin Orbs are paid back
  • After a resync, a client holding right-click to deconstruct could be left unable to move
  • Placing a blueprint over buildings it swaps with could desync the other players
  • Opening a moveable structure's panel could make a hauler on your machine only and desync you
  • Opening a blueprint in multiplayer could, with unlucky timing, desync the game
  • With a menu open in multiplayer, your ship kept drifting in the direction you were last moving
  • A sleeping far-away enemy could leave its laser beam frozen on screen mid-shot until it woke
